Who is Daan Roosegaarde?

Daan Roosegaarde was born on 1979 in Nieuwkoop, Netherland. He was a founder of Roosegaarde Studio. In his studio, they are invented new technology involves lighting to beautify the nature. Most technology created by Roosegaarde involves lighting. Furthermore, its also environmentally friendly and cost-effective. In addition, the technology he has invented creates a better atmosphere night reveals as if it were reality. 

This video is about Daan Roosegaarde ambitious to create a better world by his technology. He believes his technology can change and create another thinking that create new technology won't harm the universe instead of fix it. Therefore, he created such technology like Icoon Afsluitdijk, Smog Free Project, Windvogel, Glowing Nature, Glowing Line, Waterlicht, Van Gogh Path, Dune, Space, Smog Free Ring, 22 Beds and others.

In this website, you guys can check his technology. Technology that Roosegaarde invented is all about making lighting. How the lights play its role in making the nature more beautiful at night. However, it still have its function which is no harm to environment. 

So here is one of Roosegaarde technology that he had invented. 

GLOWING LINE

Glowing Line also known as Smart Highway. Smart Highway are interactive and sustainable roads of tomorrow by Daan Roosegaarde and Heijmans Infrastruscture. Its goals is to make smart roads by using light, energy and information that interact with traffic situation. Smart Highway consists of Glowing Lines that are charges during day-time and glow at night for eight hours. 

WATERLICHT

Waterlicht is the dream landscape about the power and poetry of water. As a virtual flood, it shows how high the water could reach without human intervention and raises awareness around rising water levels caused by global warming. innovation in engraved in the DNA of the Dutch and its landscape as seen by its innovative water program and creation of dikes. However, it almost seems to have forgotten. Waterlicht is a powerful and poetic experience to remind us the role and importance of innovation. 

VAN GOGH PATH

Van Gogh Path is made of thousands twinkling stones inspired by "Starry Night". The path connects innovation with cultural heritage in the town of Nuenen NL, the place where Van Gogh lived in 1883. By charging at day-time via sun, the path glows at night. This idea has been inspired by Van Gogh's painting called "Starry Night".

The technology Roosegaarde has made the night more beautifully luminous. Night time is no longer frigtening with his technology. We can enjoy the night view with more calming.
